Our Mentor riders

Dean langenberg he/him

Dean Langenberg is the co-founder of RollCall School Bus Management.

He is a committed cyclist who has been racing at an amateur level for over 30 years and has been involved in local club administration. Deans shares his time across all three disciplines of road, gravel and MTB.

Deano, the founding member of the team, recently declared his climbing days are over.  Some may say his climbing days finished when Australia won the Americas cup but that’s up for debate.  A passionate cyclist who brings maximum energy to each ride, Deano is larger than life. Unfortunately, Deano was recently diagnosed with a rare condition.  He is allergic to wind and as a result you find him at the back of the bunch, hiding and offering special commentary along the way.

Jo works as a senior manager in the philanthropy sector, predominantly in rural Australia. A qualified anthropologist, Jo is always great conversation on the bike

Jo brings sophistication, class and decorum to the group.  Often found at the front of the group also shielding Deano from his allergies, Joe works hard and plays hard.  Responsible for the welfare of three boys (2 sons and a husband) Joe understands the importance of work life balance. Joe is a great listener with a cracking sense of humour. These qualities make Joe a must for any ride and a valuable mentor to the next generation.

Harry (Simon)
ELsum he/him

Harry has a background of playing Australian Rules at an elite level for over 15 years. In retirement he has taken up cycling and as expected excelled.

He is a husband and father to two children, works as a senior Project Manager and an excellent mentor in the RollCall Racing project.

Harry is a man of few words with a good head of hair.  Its quality over quantity for Harry.  A seasoned pro Harry loves nothing more than a putting on the lycra for an early morning ride and sipping coffee. A perfect day for Harry before he found bike riding, included long romantic walks on the beach with his partner holding hands and reciting poetry.  Now bike riding has found Harry, there is no time for the beach.

Rowan is a senior executive in the corporate world. He is a committed family man who brings great life experience and a fantastic sense of humour to the team.

Rowan also once dreamt of becoming a male model.  Genetics prevented this happening, so he decided to be an accountant.  Standing at five foot seven tall with very little hair on his head he presents no danger to anything.  Rowan is a committed bike rider who spends most of his time shielding Deano from the wind.  The number of bikes in Rowan’s shed is a true mystery to his wife.  Apparently, they all have a purpose
